💬 Join us on Thursday, June 4th at 6 PM for our next Community Conversations gathering at Sheridan Elementary School.

Last month, neighbors came together to listen, learn, and support one another through meaningful conversation and collaboration. As we head into summer, we're looking forward to continuing that momentum and strengthening the connections that make our community thrive.

Civic Leadership Academy is for Allentown residents who are ready to learn, grow, and commit to the work alongside others who share that same vision. Through this program, participants will build relationships, deepen their understanding of local systems, and strengthen their ability to lead and advocate for their community.

🎈We held another meaningful evening at this month’s Franklin Park Community Conversations. These gatherings continue to remind us how important it is for neighbors to come together, ask questions, share concerns, and stay connected to what’s happening in our city.

Much of the conversation centered around safety in Allentown, especially regarding speeding, traffic concerns, and recent incidents impacting neighborhoods across the city. We were grateful to have Mayor Matt Tuerk join us to help answer questions and provide clarity on some of these issues.

This is why these conversations matter. They create space for neighbors, city leaders, and community members to come together, listen, and work toward solutions collectively.

We hope you’ll join us for our next gathering on June 18th right here in Franklin Park. 🗓

On Thursday, May 21st, at 6 PM, neighbors will be gathered to connect, share ideas, and continue working toward the changes we want to see in Franklin Park.

Interested in our Civic Leadership Academy? Join us earlier at 5 PM at the same location for a brief info session. Civic Leadership Academy is a program for Allentown residents who want to strengthen their advocacy skills, better understand how local systems work, and make a greater impact in their neighborhoods.
