Last night, we gathered for our Community Celebration and Annual Meeting to reflect on the impact we've made together and look ahead to the future.

We are deeply grateful to our dedicated Board of Directors, committee chairs, and community leaders whose time, talent, and commitment help advance our mission every day, strengthening Jewish life here in the Lehigh Valley and supporting our brothers and sisters in Israel and around the world.

Thank you for being and for helping ensure a vibrant Jewish future for generations to come.

On Memorial Day, remember the service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation's freedom. We honor the Jewish veterans, in particular, and are grateful for their courage and commitment to the values we hold dear. May their memory be a blessing.

We are proud to share that our Director of Development, Aaron Gorodzinsky, joined leaders from Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh on Capitol Hill during the Jewish Federations of North America Fly-In to advocate for the safety and security of Jewish communities across the country.

During the visit, participants met with U.S. Senator John Fetterman to thank him for his unwavering support and commitment to keeping Jewish communities safe.

Thank you, Aaron, for proudly representing and helping ensure the voices of the Lehigh Valley Jewish community are heard. This is how we're .

Today, our Women’s Philanthropy Mitzvah Project came together to care for Mount Sinai Cemetery, the first Jewish cemetery in the Lehigh Valley.

By clearing these historic graves, we honored generations of Jewish life and fulfilled the sacred mitzvah of chesed shel emet, a true act of kindness for those who can no longer repay us. As Miriam Zager shared, “Every stone you uncover, every path you clear, is a statement: these people mattered, and they are not forgotten.”

Thank you to everyone who showed up to preserve this sacred space and honor the proud history of our community.
