Allentown Fire Department - Engine 13 Engine 13 is a single engine firehouse serving the citizens of the Eastside of Allentown. The newest fire station for the Allentown Fire Dept.

is the Eastside Fire Station, opened in 2014. The station houses Engine 13, Dive 54, Utility 49, and the Rescue Boat. The station is manned 24 hours a day by 3 fire dept. personnel. 1 Lieutenant and 2 firefighters.

Best of luck in retirement Chief!!

Allentown Fire Chief James Wehr will retire in early February after about two-and-a-half years leading the department. Mayor Ray O’Connell will appoint Deputy Chief Efrain “Freddy” Agosto Jr., an 18-year veteran of the fire department, to succeed him.
