On this first day of National EMS week we focus on Education. Allenhurst EMS has a thriving and vibrant Cadet program. Today, we recognize our hard working cadets and the team who work diligently to train them! Shout out to Captain Carla Ward, Lieutenant Trish McLoughlin, and our Cadet Advisors EMTs Zach Coyne and Elizabeth Regn. They are the backbone of our cadet program. We are proud of our cadets and the strides they have made this year!

🔥Adopt a Fire Hydrant!🔥

With winter weather on the way, The Allenhurst Fire Department is asking our community to help keep neighborhoods safe by clearing snow and ice from nearby fire hydrants. A hydrant that's buried or blocked can slow firefighters down when every second counts.

How to help:
Clear a path to the hydrant
Remove snow at least 3 feet around it
Keep all caps visible and accessible

These small efforts can make a huge difference in an emergency, helping crews get water flowing faster when lives and property are on the line.
