For the safety of our community, street parking is not permitted within the township. 🚗

Parking on the roadway can block traffic, reduce visibility, and make things less safe for drivers and pedestrians. Street parking can also impede emergency vehicles, potentially delaying critical response times. 🚒

Please use garages, driveways, and other approved off-street parking areas.

ITC will be conducting aerial patrols of high-voltage transmission structures, lines, and equipment June 12–17, weather permitting. You may notice low-flying helicopters near transmission lines as crews perform routine inspections and maintenance checks.🛩️

If you see a helicopter flying relatively low with a large, hexagonal-shaped hoop hanging below, don’t be alarmed! It’s all part of a special survey being conducted by the USGS and EGLE to map the region’s aquifers and geology. The data will improve USGS bedrock maps and inform the County's groundwater management efforts.

🚪 Solicitor Reminder for Allendale Residents 🚪

All solicitors operating in Allendale Township are required to obtain a township-issued solicitation license and follow township ordinance, including honoring “No Solicitation” signs.

If you experience issues with a solicitor or believe someone is soliciting without a valid license, please contact Ottawa County Non-Emergency at 616-994-7850. This is often the quickest way to have a deputy respond and contact the company directly.

Beginning Monday, May 11, Pierce St. (52nd–60th Ave.) and 56th Ave. (M-45–Alger St.) will be closed for road construction.

🗓 Estimated Duration: Through June 12, 2026 (weather dependent)

🚗 Detour Route:
60th Ave. ➡ Alger St. ➡ 56th Ave. ➡ Fillmore St. ➡ 48th Ave.
