⚠️ Community Alert: Reports of Vehicle Problems After Refueling

The People-Sentinel has received several reports from local residents whose vehicles reportedly shut down after refueling at the Sunoco station on Dunbarton Boulevard in Barnwell.

The City of Barnwell has also issued a public notice acknowledging that it has received numerous calls regarding the situation.

If you recently purchased fuel at this location and experience vehicle issues, we encourage you to document what happened and contact the appropriate parties.

We are continuing to gather information and will provide updates as more details become available.
