Happy Tears are flowing at the City of Allen Animal Shelter !!!
If you recognize that is one of our longest residents about to enjoy his freedom ride. Ozzy our bestest cattle dog boy ever has been Adopted!!! With patience and time we hope all our furry friends find their families. 🐾

We hoped you enjoyed your long weekend. The City of Allen Animal Shelter will open at 10am today. We are collecting Nut Butters for the annual Peanut Butter drive to help fight hungry with North Texas Food Bank .
We are also accepting much needed donations such as kitten food. It is September and we are seeing an influx of all animals. To continue the level of care they deserve your item donations are much appreciated. It will keep us from having to find much needed items and give us extra time to care for these animals.
You can also adopt today! Everyone is patiently waiting.

The shelter will be closed in observance of Labor Day on Monday September 8, 2026. Keep our staff in mind as you enjoy a day off. We are still hard at work caring for all these furry friends waiting for their forever families.
