Allen TX CERT CERT is about readiness, people helping people, rescuer safety, and doing the greatest good for the greatest number.

CERT educates individuals about disaster preparedness for hazards that may impact their area and trains them in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Using training learned in the classroom and during exercises, CERT volunteers can assist others in their community following a disaster when professional resp

onders are not immediately available to help. CERT volunteers are also encouraged to support emergency response agencies by taking an active role in emergency preparedness projects.

Last night, personnel from the Allen Fire Department Wildland Firefighting Team were mobilized to support firefighting operations at the Windy Deuce Fire.

To our fellow Texans in the Panhandle, Allen Fire Department is proud to be fighting alongside you in this historic wildfire outbreak. We will continue to provide support as long as it is needed.

Join us for our 49th Citizens Police Academy.
Class starts March 14th and runs through May 16th this Spring.

Accepted applicants can expect to experience many different facets of the Police Department, to include SRO, Traffic/Motors, Criminal Investigations, SWAT, Police Drones, Crime Scene, Gun Range, Tactical Police Driving and everyone’s favorite, Police K9’s!!!

Applicants must be at least 18 yrs old and be a resident of Allen or work in Allen.
