Moon Township Public Works Moon Township Public works is located at 1115 Stevenson Mill Rd, Moon Township, PA 15108.

The Moon Township Department of Public Works is responsible for the maintenance of all township owned roads, properties and buildings. Approximately 14 road employees, a Public Works Facilities Manager and a Public Works Operations Manager make up the road department. The Department of Public Works saves Moon Township thousands of dollars annually in construction and maintenance costs by offering a number of services in-house. Public Works is responsible for all of the township’s signage, the maintenance of all township-owned roads including filling pot holes, sealing cracks and simple paving. Additionally, Public Works is responsible for salting and plowing township-owned roads during cold-weather months. The department owns several vehicles which allow them to provide a variety of services to Moon Township residents.

PAVING INFORMATION:

Youngblood paving is scheduled to mobilize in the Township the week of July 20th to begin work on ADA ramp replacements/upgrades and begin preparation for the 2026 road paving program. Youngblood has tentatively planned the road resurfacing to begin the first week of August , dependent on weather conditions.

We’re proud to support Moon Parks Foundation’s new campaign to expand AED access throughout our community parks.

Thanks to a generous donation from the Aliver Foundation, Moon Park’s first public outdoor AED and all-weather enclosure has officially been installed; providing a critical lifesaving resource in one of our township’s busiest recreational spaces.

Now, the goal is to build on that momentum.

With the size and daily usage of Moon Park and its amenities, additional AED units can help improve emergency response times when every second matters. The community campaign aims to fund future installations, with a goal of securing another unit by National CPR & AED Awareness Week (June 1–7).
