The Robert Morris University Police Department wanted to let you know that on Thursday, March 30th between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., four (4) military helicopters will be landing on the RMU campus as part of a training exercise for the RMU ROTC group.

We wanted to make sure that you were notified so that it wouldn’t cause unnecessary alarm throughout the community.

The Robert Morris University Police Department sends our condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Officer Sean Sluganski of the McKeesport, PA Police Department. Officer Sluganski was killed while attempting to aid an emotionally disturbed person.

The Robert Morris University Police Department sends our condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Chief Justin McIntyre of the Brackenridge, PA Police Department.

Chief McIntyre was killed in a shootout that followed the foot-chase of a wanted person.
