The Kiwanis Club of the Jackson River Area believes every child deserves a community that encourages, supports and believes in them. This local nonprofit serves children and families throughout Alleghany and Bath counties through meaningful service projects, fundraisers and youth-focused programs.

From maintaining Little Free Libraries and supporting youth scholarships to sponsoring recreational activities, holiday programs and special community events, its members generously give their time and talents to help local children learn, grow and thrive. Their dedication is a wonderful reminder of the difference that caring neighbors can make when they work together!
