We were honored to welcome a very special guest to the Center Township Police Department today—Zayne from Project Zayne: Calm in Crisis!

Project Zayne is an incredible regional initiative dedicated to supporting children with autism and special needs during emergencies. Thanks to Zayne's hard work, our first responders in Beaver County are being equipped with specialized sensory bins and the vital training needed to bring comfort, safety, and calm to children during high-stress situations.

Our officers are now better prepared than ever to serve all members of our community when they need us most. Thank you, Zayne, for visiting us and for your outstanding dedication to making Beaver County a safer, more inclusive place!

This morning, Detective Lutton was honored with an award acknowledging his dedication to law enforcement and the community. Throughout his career, he has led numerous investigations resulting in arrests and has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to both his profession and public safety.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to our residents, Mr. Bill and Mr. George Zaritski, for their generous support of our officers yesterday. Mr. Bill kindly provided Oram’s Donuts for breakfast, and Mr. Zaritski treated our officers to Vesuvio’s pizza for dinner. We are truly grateful to serve a community that consistently demonstrates such thoughtfulness and generosity. Thank you.
