DO NOT BE ALARMED!! There will be a large presence of POLICE K9 Teams throughout the area of Raccoon Township. The Township will be hosting their yearly K9 certification week this year for multiple K9 teams from around the county. The trainings will take place during the day time hours, at different locations around the township. PLEASE BE ADVISED! These are working K9 Units and to not approach without permission. These Pups are training to serve and protect our community and county…....Thank you!

PSA-Aliquippa Water Authority has confirmed that half of Raccoon Township residents have water and half do not. They stated it will be a few hours yet for everything to be up and running.

Shippingport Data Center Meeting, Tuesday, August 18, 2026 from 6-8pm at the Shippingport Community Building.
There will be two presentations about the proposed Aligned Data Center followed by an open house set up or local residence. Can talk to multiple DEP program representatives.

Saturday, June 20, 2026 all of Raccoon is invited to participate in a township-wide yard sale. All participants on this map have registered their location for shoppers to find them easily. There may be additional sales, so keep your eyes peeled.
Please watch for walkers when parking & driving. Respect your neighbor’s property.
