🧡 A BIG THANK YOU TO WHATABURGER! 🧡

Did You Know? In 1953, Whataburger #5 opened in Alice, Texas, becoming the very first franchised Whataburger in the country!

As part of their summer learning, our Elementary Summer Program students researched the history of Alice and learned about Whataburger's special connection to our community. Today, they had the exciting opportunity to share their research and projects with members of the Whataburger team.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our students, listen to their presentations, and encourage their learning. Your commitment to our community and support of student success made this experience truly special.

Again, a huge thank you for all of the Whataburger goodies you brought for our students and teachers—they absolutely loved them!

The Camp Coyote sessions this week were an overwhelming success, as evidenced by the student showcase held Thursday afternoon at Noonan Elementary School. Students participating in the Music Makers Camp, Pickle Pals Pickleball Camp, and Bot Builder Robotics Camp proudly demonstrated what they learned during the four-day program in front of their families and Alice ISD administrators.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of these camps. Your dedication and support helped create an engaging and memorable experience for our students.
We look forward to another exciting week as the second session of Camp Coyote begins Monday.

We are excited to welcome our second week of Camp Coyote participants on Monday, June 22, 2026!

🕣 Camp hours are 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

Did you know that Alice High School is adding a Zero Period for the 2026-2027 school year?
Students will be able to add a course in Spanish or Cosmetology from 7:20 am to 8:15 am.

Math is fun, especially when it is combined with hands-on STEM activities. This week, students in the William Adams Middle School Summer Advanced Math Program are putting their skills to work by building marble roller coasters out of cardboard and construction paper, as well as designing mazes using cardboard and straws. These engaging projects help students explore mathematical concepts while encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Today, Alice High School Cheer held our first stunt clinic of the year, and it was also the first time our new squad came together as one team! 🧡📣

A huge thank you to AHS Cheer alumni Greg Rodriguez and Lisa Cisneros for leading today’s clinic and sharing their knowledge, experience, and passion with our athletes. The squad worked hard, learned new skills, built trust, and took the first steps toward what promises to be an exciting season ahead.

We’re proud of the effort and positive attitude these athletes brought to day one, and we can’t wait to see what this team accomplishes throughout the year. The future is bright for AHS Cheer!

This week, we are proud to recognize our Character Award recipients from the Elementary Summer Program!

These students have demonstrated the Alice ISD Pillar of Character by showing respect, responsibility, kindness, integrity, and a positive attitude each day. Their actions make a difference in our classrooms and help create a culture where everyone can learn and grow.
