I grew up low-income when I first moved to the U.S., and I know firsthand how important food is above all else. Food affects everything—our health, our ability to focus in school, our energy at work, and our dignity as people. For many immigrant families in the San Gabriel Valley, even something as simple as grocery shopping isn’t safe. With ICE still present in our communities, U.S. citizens, green card holders, and visa holders alike are being harassed. People carry their U.S. passports to protect themselves, but the fear is real—families have been illegally targeted by masked strangers with guns, unmarked vehicles, and no warrants. No one should live with the fear of being torn from their home, deported to a country they don’t know, or risk dying in ICE custody.

At the same time, the situation in Gaza remains dire. Children are starving, denied adequate care, and the suffering continues daily.

That’s why we’re gathering as a community. Join us TOMORROW (Tuesday, 8/19) at 7pm at Nucleus (210 E Main St, Alhambra, CA 91801) for a fundraiser dinner. For just $10 a plate, you’ll not only share a meal with us—you’ll help support food distributions here in the SGV, while also giving back to Operation Healthy Hearts, Matilija Collective, and the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.

⚠️ Please note: Nucleus is primarily a figure drawing space, so there may not be tables, and chairs will not be available for guests coming only for food.

Feeling blessed to have the support of these incredible folks from Alhambra High School and a dedicated Public Health Professional volunteering to help our campaign. We like to end our days with some pizza to unwind!

With only 7 days left until Election Day, we still need 10 more volunteer shifts to reach the finish line. If you can spare some time, please reach out at [email protected]. Let’s make it happen together!

Honoring Indigenous Peoples’ Day means acknowledging the Gabrielino, Kizh, and Tongva Nations, who’ve cared for our land long before Alhambra existed. Yet, their fight for federal recognition continues.

As your candidate, I’m committed to working with our local communities to support Indigenous rights. To get involved, please explore the following:

✅ Sign the petition for Gabrielino/Tongva Nation recognition.

🌱 Support the Tongva Taraxat Paxaavxa Conservancy.

🤝 Build meaningful relationships with our Native neighbors.

Together, we can make a difference.

Can you believe that we have 37 days left until Election Day!

Since beginning my campaign, we’ve built something truly special—an incredible ground game reaching voters across Alhambra and creating real momentum. I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished together, but now, we have one last push to cross the finish line strong. 🏁

We’re fundraising to raise $10,000 by next week to secure the future we’ve all envisioned—a safer, greener, and more inclusive Alhambra. If everyone reading this post chips in just $25, we’ll hit that goal. 🙌🏽

Here’s how your support will fuel our victory:

📋 2 paid door-knockers to get our message directly to voters.
🏠 50 yard signs to show visible support throughout the community.
✉️ 2 mail pieces to reach every household in the district.
📰 1 print ad to spread our message to all Alhambrans.

This is the moment that matters most. The team has been working tirelessly on the ground, and your support is what’s gotten us this far. But to finish strong, we need that final push. Every donation, every share, and every volunteer effort counts. Let’s build the Alhambra we believe in—together. 💪🏽✨

Our campaign just got a significant boost—we are officially endorsed by the Los Angeles County Young Democrats (LACYD)👏

This endorsement from LA’s most prominent youth-led organization is a testament to the power of young voices advocating for change and our shared commitment to a better Alhambra. It signals that our fight for affordable housing, safer streets, and environmental justice is resonating with the next generation of leaders.

With LACYD’s support, we’re not just running a campaign—we’re building a movement 🙌
Together, we will ensure that Albambra is a place where everyone—no matter their background—feels heard, valued, and empowered.

Thank you, LACYD, for standing with us and believing in our campaign’s mission to make Alhambra a place that works for all residents. ❤️
