🚨 ATTENTION FRIENDS & COMMUNITY 🚨

It has come to my attention that there is a fake Facebook account spreading hurtful comments about me, specifically calling me "fat." While I understand that public figures may face criticism, personal attacks and bullying—especially from fake profiles—are unacceptable.

We are all human, and words can hurt. Let’s remind ourselves that Facebook bullies hide behind screens, but their words still impact real people. I urge everyone to stand up against this kind of behavior. Let’s be better.

Tomorrow at 1 p.m. is a significant day in Algonac, featuring the groundbreaking ceremony for the Lions Field swimming pool. We appreciate your patience as we waited for grant funding. The initial slogan was 'Swim and dive in 55,' and we're delighted to now be able to 'Swim and dive in 25.'

At this past Tuesdays city council meeting the Algonac City Council it’s to hire Robert Clancy to rebuild the Algonac Lions Field Community Swimming Pool. The work should begin shortly for a 2025 reopening date. Thank you everyone for your patience. We will have a new pool next summer!

This is the proposed layout of the Algonac Elementary community center and Gar Wood housing development. This investment will be what allows the city to have a community center at a lower cost to the taxpayers.

This is like a holiday for me! I love working helping residents unload their cars! Watching tires get disposed of. Did you know that every garbage tire left in our yards harbor the best environment to breed mosquitoes. Each old tire can breed over 20,000 mosquitoes a year! Get those tires and garbage ready!

What a great and productive community conversation tonight on Algonac Elementary! We had a full house and it seems the consensus tonight was that this needs to be a community project. Those in attendance were really excited about saving the gym. Thank you everyone!
