This National AED and CPR Awareness Week, we’re proud to continue the Be Ready in a Heartbeat initiative launched by First Past Chair Rebecca Hupp, A.A.E.

Airports connect millions of people every day, making preparedness critical when emergencies occur. Ensuring AEDs are accessible, staff are trained, and Cardiac Emergency Response Plans are regularly evaluated can make the difference between a life lost and a life saved.

We’ve already seen firsthand how readiness saves lives across our airport community. This week, we encourage every airport to ask: Are we ready in a heartbeat?
