The Alexandria Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 4185 was formed in 2002. The main focus of joining was brotherhood and training. Initially there were 7 members on the charter, but today we have grown to 16. Through many fundraisers we have purchase training supplies and tools to better equip all the firefighters and medical personnel at the Alexandria Fire District. We have also made considerable donations to many different organizations and causes.
