The Neighborhood Improvement Corp (NIC), centered in Alexandria, VA, provides a point of contact for individuals volunteering to assist local nonprofits with events, galas, cleanups, and other activities. When NIC is volunteering, NIC members will be able to greet other volunteers on site to welcome and orient them to the volunteer activity on behalf of the host organization. Groups of skilled ind

ividuals may also partner through NIC to offer low-cost, fee-for-service assistance to nonprofits such as fundraising, event management & database assistance.
