We want to thank everyone for a great year and a great weekend of events. This year we lost another great person. He won the golf tournament several times and was a tremendous supporter of our foundation through all of the years. MTH Foundation is just one of the many that Tom Handrick has affected positively in our community with his tremendous heart and everlasting joy. Tom, you will be greatly missed.

Good morning! The 11th annual MTH weekend is finally here and the weather looks amazing.

Just a few reminders:
Registration starts at 7:30, tee off at 9:00
Lunch is open to the public and will be served after golfers complete the course around 1pm.
Pinewood golf course is located in Harshaw, WI

Get ready for an amazing day! We can’t wait to see everyone.

Thanks for all the great well wishes and support for the MTH Foundation. We just wanted to clarify that the events in August are still on and registration is open! We’d love nothing more than to go out with a bang. So let’s get all of our friends, family, and supporters to get out and golf or run in this final weekend of events in August!

MTH Foundation Announcement of Closing:

​With bittersweet feelings and tremendous gratitude for our amazing supporters, the MTH Board recently decided that it was time to close the Foundation in October, 2018. The August 3rd and 4th, 2018, Golf Tournament and Mary Mile/5K Run will be our final fundraising events.
​The last 10 years have been a humbling and rewarding experience for all of us at the Foundation as we witnessed the incredible generosity of our families, friends and strangers. We set out to honor the memory of our sister, wife, aunt, and friend, Mary Terese Hartzheim, and we believe we've accomplished our goal. During it's existence, the MTH Foundation raised over $334,000. We've funded more than $165,000 in cancer research projects; more than $78,000 in scholarships at Lakeland Union High School, and more than $80,000 in cancer care programs in the greater Minocqua, WI community and beyond.
​ While the Foundation will be discontinued, the legacy of Mary Terese Hartzheim will live on through the caring community we've created. Mary touched each of us in a unique way and she remains in all of our hearts.
