After weeks of videos, trash talk, accusations, โinvestigations,โ and APD even delivering a truckload of tissues to the fire station, we finally settled it where it mattered โ on the field.

Turns out those tissues did come in handy after all. We just had to make sure they found their way back to the people who needed them. ๐
But all the banter and rivalry aside, last night was about a whole lot more than a softball game.
We give each other a hard time. We compete. We have fun. But when the call comes in, these are the same men and women we work alongside, depend on, and trust. Different uniforms and different responsibilities โ but we're all serving the same community, and we're proud to do it together.
And speaking of this community...

Seeing that many people come out to laugh with us, cheer us on, support both teams, and help make this event such a success was incredible. We knew Alexandria would show up โ but you exceeded anything we expected.
