Thanks to everyone who came out for Community Night Out and spent the evening connecting with the Alexandria Police Department, Alexandria, MN , Alexandria Fire Department and so many of our awesome community partners.

We love getting the chance to connect with you, have some fun and see so many familiar faces!

The City of Alexandria offers free accessibility equipment at the Aagard Splash Pad at Fillmore Park - Alexandria, MN.

✔️ Free to reserve
✔️ Available Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
✔️ Reservations required at least 24 hours in advance

Douglas County Dispatch will be working with a vendor today to test various sirens throughout the county as part of a new zone alerting system.

The sirens will sound for a short duration at various times throughout the day. 𝗡𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘀.

🚧 Road Closure Thursday, August 13

CSAH 46 between S. Broadway and the railroad tracks will be closed beginning at 6 a.m. Thursday for paving. The closure is expected to last one day.

Please plan an alternate route. Crews will begin setup Wednesday.
