ENTRY OF SERVICE ANIMALS
Service animals are important and valued professionals that serve the needs of owners and must always be present. Because service animals are essential for specific individuals, we wanted to make all attendees aware of the definitions and guidelines in place to make certain service animals present as well as to ensure the well-being of all individuals in attendance at KHSAA championship events. Service animals are the only animals the general public may bring into the indoor and outdoor facilities of a KHSAA championship. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) defines a service animal as a dog who has been trained to perform a task directly related to an individual’s disability. Upon entry to the championship, owners of service dogs may be asked questions as recommended by the ADA to ensure the owner access to their service animal. The training a service animal receives distinguishes it from other animals and there may be questions about the training provided to the animal and service for which it provides. Emotional support animals, therapy animals, and other pets are not considered service animals and will not be granted entry to KHSAA events. In Kentucky, misrepresentation of an assistance animal is a violation with a fine up to $1,000. The owner will be responsible at all times for the conduct of the service animal. Thank you for respecting the training and necessity of service dogs and helping us keep all guests safe when visiting a KHSAA championship event. See less

🍽 CCS Summer Meal Pickup Starts TODAY 🍽️
Here are a few tips & tricks to make pickup quick and easy:
✅ Wait until after 3:30 PM to arrive – We do have students in buildings throughout the summer and will need time to dismiss students safely and set up the parking lots. Early cars will be asked to return after 3:30 PM.
🚗 Stay in your car – For everyone’s safety and efficiency, please remain in your vehicle unless a staff member directs otherwise.
📣 Have the number of children and names ready – Be prepared to share the names of the children you’re picking up meals for when you pull up. (You will receive this number of bags.)
🔓 Pop your trunk! – If your vehicle has an automatic hatch or door, please open it once you’re safely in the pickup zone to help us serve you faster.
We can’t wait to see you and help fuel your summer fun! 🧃🥪🌞
Remember – this program is open to everyone with children in their household!
You do not need to be a CCS family or meet any income requirements. We are so grateful to be able to offer this opportunity widely, and there is plenty to go around. Please share with friends, neighbors, or anyone who’d like to take part in this convenient summer option.

We’re excited to once again offer the Summer Meal Program to our community! This opportunity allows all families to receive meals throughout the summer, at no cost and with no registration required.

Please see the attached flyer for program dates and details. Mark your Thursdays! At each pickup, families will receive a bag for each child in the household, packed with 7 days of breakfast and lunch. (On July 30, you’ll receive 10 days of meals.)

This program is open to anyone with children in their household. We’re hosting pickups at two locations:
Cline Elementary (5586 E Alexandria Pike)
Grant’s Lick Elementary (13290 Alexandria Pike)

We’re proud to support our students, families, and the community this summer! Thank you to all our staff who make this possible!

You are welcome to share this information with any neighborhoods, community organizations, churches, etc.
ALL can participate, including those not enrolled in CCS.
