The Alexander City Police Department is filled with many dedicated, hardworking men and women who are committed to keeping our community safe. The department will continue to be proactive in addressing crimes and apprehending the offenders, as well as continuing to teach crime prevention techniques to the members of our community. In addition, the Department is in the process of adapting the Intel

ligence ‐LED Policing Model to our agency. This will allow us to be more effective and efficient in utilizing our resources to identify, interrupt, apprehend and prosecute criminals in our community.
