Senior portrait time is here! Glamourcraft will be at Aledo High School on June 10-11 to take senior photos for the yearbook. Appointment spots are still open!

✅ No cost to have your senior's yearbook portrait taken.
✅ Parents/guardians will receive a gallery link after the session with the option to purchase photos.

If your student cannot attend on June 10-11, they must schedule an appointment at the Glamourcraft Fort Worth studio by November 13, 2026 to be included in the senior portrait section of the yearbook.

⚾️🏆 What a sendoff for Bearcat Baseball!

Bearcat Nation showed up in a big way today to cheer on our team as they departed for Round Rock and the Class 5A Division I State Championship. Thank you to everyone who lined the bus loop and helped create an unforgettable sendoff experience for our players and coaches.

🎶 Congratulations to Blake Glass on being named the new Head Choir Director at Aledo High School! 🎉🧡

We are excited to welcome Mr. Glass to the Bearcat family and can't wait to see him lead our choir program next year. His passion for music, commitment to students, and record of success make him a great addition to Aledo High School.

Please help us give a big Bearcat Welcome to Blake Glass, the new Head Choir Director at Aledo High School! 🎼🎹

Glass has been the head choir director at Western Hills High School in the Fort Worth ISD since 2020. In his time there, he quadrupled the choir program enrollment, led 10 Texas All-State Choir members and helped the program accomplish 11 UIL Sweepstakes-winning choirs. He was also named the WHHS Teacher of the Year for 2025-2026 and has previously been the student council advisor on campus.

“I am so honored and excited to join the Aledo ISD family,” Glass said. “Aledo ISD Fine Arts has an incredible tradition of excellence, and I cannot wait to get to work alongside these students and families. My goal is to build something special here, a program where any student can be a singer, grow musically, and leave better than they came.”

Glass has also been the music director at Saint Matthew United Methodist Church since 2021, and the tenor section leader for church services and member of the professional choir (Highland Park Chorale) at Highland Park Presbyterian Church since 2020. In 2024-2025, Glass was the assistant conductor in the Greater Dallas Choral Society youth chorus - the most prestigious youth choral organization in DFW - leading sectionals and playing piano for leading sectional rehearsals.

The Bearcats are STATE BOUND once again after a two-game sweep of McKinney North! Aledo punched its ticket back to the UIL State Tournament with thrilling 12-2 and 7-6 victories and will have the opportunity to defend last year's state championship.

Congratulations to our players, coaches, and fans on an incredible accomplishment. The journey continues! 🧡🐾
