Here is a fun opportunity to share ideas for the City of Aledo's Parks Master Plan!

Ride. Explore. Share your ideas. 🚴‍♀️🚴

Join us Saturday, May 16 for our Parks Master Plan Kickoff event at Community Center Park (104 Robinson Court).

Between 10AM and noon, stop by The Pit to share your input with the project team, participate in input-gathering activities, then stick around to enjoy the pump track, trails and native gardens at your own pace.

At noon, we’ll roll out together on a community bike ride to Jakes Burgers (601 FM 1187), where the conversation continues from 12:30–2:00 PM in a casual, come-and-go setting on the patio.

This is the first of several opportunities to be part of the Parks Master Plan process, and we’re kicking things off in one of Aledo’s most loved spaces. All ages welcome.

Can’t make it? Share your input anytime by taking the Parks and Recreation Master Plan survey at https://fni.mysocialpinpoint.com/aledo-comprehensive-plan/aledo-comprehensive-plan-and-parks-master-plan-survey.

Share your thoughts. The City of Aledo Comprehensive Plan survey is open until June 8th.

What should Aledo look like in the years ahead?

That’s exactly what our Comprehensive Plan is here to determine, and we want every Aledo resident to be involved!

Our project partners at Freese and Nichols have just uploaded a helpful presentation to our plan's website that walks you through:
👉 What the Comprehensive Plan is
👉 The timeline for the process
👉 How your input directly shapes the outcome
👉 Ways to get involved along the way

Please take a few minutes to explore the presentation and complete the community survey on the website. Survey topics include vision, housing, land use, transportation, economic development, downtown revitalization and parks and recreation.

🗓️ The survey is open through June 8.
