The Aledo Police Benevolent Association is a non profit organization consisting of full and part time Police Officers who are employed or have retired from the City of Aledo. Our organizations primary event held each year is the Shop with a Hero Program. This program takes children of Mercer County who come from less than fortunate families and provides them with money to buy Christmas presents for their entire family. Our organizations primary fundraiser is the sale of the brick pavers which are placed in the Armed Forces Memorial located by the Mercer County VFW. Our organization has built and maintains the Armed Forces Memorial Park and also the newly dedicated 9/11 Memorial located in the same area. Our organization primary role is to find unique ways to give back to the Community and we are privileged and honored to create such parks to honor our Armed Forces Veterans.
