UPDATE: Due to a water main break repair, the water will temporarily be shut off to the entire city. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Tuesday, August 4th:
The city is working to repair a water main break in the area of 2nd Ave. The water will be shut off for a short time while we make the repairs. We apologize for any inconvenience!

The area of 2nd Avenue and Broadway in the City of Alden may experience low water pressure while we work to repair a water main break. We apologize for the inconvenience.

07/08/2026

The city will be temporarily shutting the water off to Washington Ave to make a repair. We anticipate that it should only be off for about 15 minutes or so, starting around 2:00 pm on Wednesday, July 8th.

The city of Alden is looking for some field rock to help with the Rip Rap project around Morin Lake. If you have some large to medium size rock you would be willing to spare, please contact the city office.
