Dr Ken Pascoe ran for the Central New Mexico Community College (CNM) Governing Board, District 5, in the Tuesday, November 4, 2025 election. D.

Thanks to all who supported me! Ken Pascoe served ten years of his 21-year US Air Force career at Kirtland AFB, first moving to Albuquerque in 1996. He earned Masters and Ph. degrees in electrical engineering while in uniform. As a leader focused on service to the community, Ken has served on two advisory boards for the City of Albuquerque and is presently the Chairman of the City’s Public Safety Tax Advisory Board. He now works as an engineer developing systems that keep our country safe, as well as teaching his fellow engineers. Ken and his wife have four children who graduated from Albuquerque Public Schools and the University of New Mexico. Of the four, one graduated from CNM as well.

Lawyers have 'artificial intelligence' (AI) do their jobs for them and it's a problem. Courts are worried about so many AI-hallucinated (completely made up, fake) citations in legal briefs that they want all parties to take on responsibility for pointing them out. Schools like CNM need to set and teach policy about the ethical use of AI.
