It’s almost time for Bandelier’s end-of-the-year Play Day event: Thursday, May 21st, 2026! 🛝💦 In celebration of our Banda Bears’ hard work throughout the year we invite each grade level out to the grassy field to rotate through 8 stations for some good, old fashioned FUN (like tug of war, water activities, parachute, etc)!
Grade Level Activity Times:
Kinder/ 1st 9:30am - 11:15am
4th/ 5th 11:15am - 1:00pm
2nd/ 3rd 2:00pm - 3:45pm
(except Mr. Worthington’s class, who will participate 2-3:45)
As you can imagine, this event takes lots of coordination and we would appreciate your help! Here are a few ways you can volunteer & join in on the fun:
1. Station Runners (Adults with any APS Volunteer Clearance): Help run a station out on the grassy field, whenever works for your schedule! Sign up here:

2. Classroom Chaperones (2 per class, must have Unsupervised APS Clearance): Accompany the class to and from the field, take students to the restroom, encourage teamwork and cooperation for their class to have fun, monitor behavior, and help them stay on task and listen at each station.
