For the past five years, Rosalina has helped lead CAASNM's Family Support Services, connecting individuals and families with resources during times of financial hardship.

Last year alone, she worked with more than 1,000 families, helping people access benefits they may be eligible for and connecting them with community resources that support their goals and immediate needs.

We're grateful to the City of Las Cruces Quality of Life Department for their generous support of this program and their continued investment in our community.

Supporting school kids in Albuquerque and beyond

🎒 Back-to-school help is on the way!

The New Mexico Public Education Department's Black Education Act Bureau is hosting a FREE Backpack Giveaway for New Mexico students on July 18. Families can also take advantage of free health screenings provided by UNM Hospital and community partners.

Backpacks and supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Students must be present to receive a backpack.

Great news for SNAP recipients!

Starting May 1, New Mexicans receiving food assistance can access free job training, career support, and work experience through the SNAP Employment & Training program, without putting their benefits at risk.

Participants get paired with case managers, build real skills, and work toward stable employment while keeping food on the table.

To enroll, contact your local Income Support Division office or call HCA at 1-800-283-4465 and request to participate in the SNAP E&T program.
