UNM Women's Resource Center

UNM Women's Resource Center Instagram (unm_wrc) The Women’s Resource Center is a place of advocacy, support, and safety for all members of the greater University and New Mexico community.

Through a feminist model of empowerment and educational, social, and cultural programming, we seek to promote women’s self-determination and political involvement; awareness and advancement of women’s rights to ensure equality in all spheres of life; redress of inequities based on gender, sex, race, disability, sexual orientation, and economic class. The WRC also seeks to promote understanding and

mutual respect among women and men to achieve individual and social change as well as to create a positive campus environment.

Lydia Wolberg is our beloved campus advocate and has been with the University of New Mexico for 8 years with 22 years in total working with various community non-profits. Through her time at the WRC she provides students with a safe, confidential, and welcoming space. Did you know we provide confidential advocacy services to learners at UNM School of Law and HSC? Lydia is one of those advocates who works at North Campus! Lydia is a busy mom of two with various lovely fur babies. We can always count on Lydia to bring joy, jokes, and pearls of wisdom to our everyday lives. We celebrate Lydia and her recent birthday for all she does and who she is! Wish Lydia a happy birthday in the comments :D
