We were happy to learn about this community grassroots effort in Santa Fe! Some trans and gender nonconforming folks are putting together a new group in Santa Fe. Please find their info below.

Transform is a new support network and activist group for trans + gender nonconforming people in Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico. You are invited to join their first meeting on Saturday, June 20th, from 3 to 6 PM. The location is Vital Spaces at 3140 Cerrillos Road, Suite B, in Santa Fe.

Megan Malcom-Morgan (3M) Presents the Sixth Annual Rainbow Walk on East Becker Avenue in Belen, NM. on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 3PM. Event takes place at the intersection of 2nd Street and Becker Ave in Belen, NM.

Megan Malcom-Morgan’s immersive art practices make use of the temporality of time and space, and create ephemeral experience with powdered color. Sky bound, but ground destined, the color will unfold as a rainbow on the street. Join us in celebrating our individuality, tolerance and love. Colors are tossed at 3pm sharp. The duration of the immersive art installation is 15-20 minutes. Reception follows with a book signing at Jaramillo Wine Tasting Room.

LiftProud: Deadlift Event benefitting TGRCNM

Lift proud is a deadlift only, non-gendered, inclusive strength event to celebrate pride and fundraise for the q***r community in New Mexico!

In collaboration with other gyms and small businesses across the city, this event brings together LGBTQIA+ athletes and their allies for a day of strength, celebration and visibility. This event aims to raise funds for the local q***r community while celebrating the strength of every body!

This event centers inclusion and strength at every size — no weigh-ins or gendered divisions. This is a chance to show off your strength in an uplifting and supportive environment!

Through collective effort, local partnerships, and shared space across Albuquerque, Lift Proud aims to turn strength into tangible impact for the local community.
