Tonya Perdun is the Screening and Referral Specialist with Hopeworks. Ms. Perdun has been instrumental in assisting the Crisis Intervention Unit with expediting our consumers into clinically appropriate treatment. Ms. Perdun has been the units point person with scheduling intake screening/assessments (in most cases seeing the consumer’s herself) within 24 hours. Ms. Perdun has also provided appropriate referrals as well as advocacy for care to our consumers. Ms. Perdun constantly makes herself available with our unit’s members and consumers to help navigate systems of care and community resources. Ms. Perdun is an invaluable provider and should be recognized for her compassionate, ethical, and empathetic care for the citizens of Albuquerque.
