The ONC is hosting a virtual Lunch and Learn session on Tuesday, July 14 at 12:00 noon. The session, Parliamentarian Procedures for Neighborhood Meetings, will cover the different motions that can be made during meetings, how to best utilize Roberts Rules of Order for neighborhood meetings, and general best practices. The training is open to the public, and will be recorded and uploaded to the ONC's YouTube channel for folks who cannot attend. The amazing Del Norte Neighborhood Association invited us to the ribbon-cutting for their beautiful wall mural along San Pedro between Topke and Osuna. It was quite a celebration! We saw many city and county friends, neighbors, elected officials, and residents of the area. Special thanks go to Mary White, president of the neighborhood association, whose tireless efforts made the mural and today's event a reality. Congratulations to Del Norte NA! Drive by and admire the mural, the longest in New Mexico, when you're in the area.

We will bring together a panel of experts, including Senior Affairs Director Anna Sanchez, City Council Planning Manager Omega Delgado, YES Housing President and CEO Chris Baca and YES Housing Executive Vice President of Development and Real Estate Enrico Gradi, for a discussion on affordable housing and its role in economic and neighborhood development. Touch A Truck is coming to District 9 in June!

Mark your calendar for the 5th annual Touch a Truck event at the Northeast corner of Central and Juan Tabo. Saturday, June 6th Featured vehicles include trash trucks, dump trucks, fire trucks, police cars, aviation vehicles, buses, and more. This event is fun for all ages and will also include food trucks. The event will take place from 10am to 12noon.
