Office of Neighborhood Coordination The Office of Neighborhood Coordination (ONC) helps create and promote healthy neighborhoods.

The goal of the Office of Neighborhood Coordination (ONC) is to help create and promote healthy and vibrant neighborhoods and support residents as they more actively and constructively engage with their community. We want to assist neighborhoods in utilizing existing resources, finding and using new ones, and maintaining meaningful involvement with local communities and government. With more than

250 registered neighborhood associations and homeowner associations citywide, the ONC provides trainings, promotes increased communication, and shares information between neighborhood groups and residents, helping them build stronger relationships and communities.

Please join the ONC for its next virtual Lunch and Learn at 12 noon Tuesday, June 9. We will bring together a panel of experts, including Senior Affairs Director Anna Sanchez, City Council Planning Manager Omega Delgado, YES Housing President and CEO Chris Baca and YES Housing Executive Vice President of Development and Real Estate Enrico Gradi, for a discussion on affordable housing and its role in economic and neighborhood development. The session will be recorded and uploaded to the ONC's YouTube channel and shared in the Weekly eNews.

Touch A Truck is coming to District 9 in June!

Mark your calendar for the 5th annual Touch a Truck event at the Northeast corner of Central and Juan Tabo. Saturday, June 6th Featured vehicles include trash trucks, dump trucks, fire trucks, police cars, aviation vehicles, buses, and more. This event is fun for all ages and will also include food trucks. The event will take place from 10am to 12noon.

This event provides District 2 residents an opportunity to meet Councilor Baca and ONC staff in person, ask questions and share concerns, network with fellow neighbors, and enjoy some complimentary refreshments. Thousands of books, magazines, vinyl, CDs, DVDs and more will be for sale at the Taylor Ranch library this coming Saturday. Prices start at 25 cents with most everything $1 or $2. Many items like brand new: wonderful children's books. Volunteers will help carry to your car. All proceeds go back into the Public Library programs and Summer Reading program for children.
