Office of Neighborhood Coordination

Office of Neighborhood Coordination The Office of Neighborhood Coordination (ONC) helps create and promote healthy neighborhoods.

The goal of the Office of Neighborhood Coordination (ONC) is to help create and promote healthy and vibrant neighborhoods and support residents as they more actively and constructively engage with their community. We want to assist neighborhoods in utilizing existing resources, finding and using new ones, and maintaining meaningful involvement with local communities and government. With more than 250 registered neighborhood associations and homeowner associations citywide, the ONC provides trainings, promotes increased communication, and shares information between neighborhood groups and residents, helping them build stronger relationships and communities.

The amazing Del Norte Neighborhood Association invited us to the ribbon-cutting for their beautiful wall mural along San Pedro between Topke and Osuna. It was quite a celebration! We saw many city and county friends, neighbors, elected officials, and residents of the area. Special thanks go to Mary White, president of the neighborhood association, whose tireless efforts made the mural and today's event a reality. Congratulations to Del Norte NA! Drive by and admire the mural, the longest in New Mexico, when you're in the area.
