Happy National Month of the Military Child! Proud of our Military Ambassador from Bernalillo County - Savannah Tuss

✨Meet Savannah Tuss, an 18-year-old engineering student at New Mexico State University and the New Mexico 4-H Military Ambassador.

Raised in a proud military family, Savannah brings a deep understanding of the unique experiences military-connected youth face. Through her role in 4-H, she advocates for their voices by leading service projects, organizing events, and creating more opportunities for involvement.

Savannah also highlights the wide range of 4-H experiences beyond agriculture—from STEM and photography to leadership and service—helping military youth discover new passions and pathways.

Her work is helping young people build confidence, form meaningful connections, and find a true sense of belonging. 💚

Here is an excellent opportunity for Rabbit and Poultry exhibitors! Small Animal School hosted by Bernalillo County Extension, registration is due May 8th!! Adults do not have to register but are asked to stay and attend with the youth (lunch cost is $10 for those who choose to stay and eat). Reach out to Brittany Johnson at the Bernalillo County Extension Office if you have any questions!
