The Center for Self-Advocacy (CSA) is a program of the New Mexico Developmental Disabilities Council (DDC) that is led by individuals with disabilities to strengthen the voice, leadership, independence, and community participation of New Mexicans with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The program recognizes that people with disabilities are experts in their own lives and should have meaningful opportunities to make decisions, advocate for themselves, participate in their communities, and influence the systems and services that affect them.

New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation is having a training session and resource fair on October 1, 2026, from 9am-12pm at the Goodwill Opportunity Center.

Disability Employment Awareness Month is only a month away. NMDVR will be kicking off October with a training session and resource fair for employers who hire--or are considering hiring--New Mexicans with disabilities.

On October 1 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Goodwill Industries of New Mexico Opportunity Center (5000 San Mateo Blvd. NE in Albuquerque), a certified trainer will provide guidance and resources for employers to help them find the right fit for their organizations.
