The Edwards County Treasurer/Collector's office has mailed certified letters for delinquent taxes. We will accept ONLY cash, money orders or cashier's checks at this time. Payments will be accepted until November 5th. The annual tax sale will be held on November 12th at 9am.

I’m pleased to announce that Chief Deputy Clerk and Recorder, Melanie Knight has been appointed by the EC Commissioners to complete the term of the Edwards County Clerk and Recorder. Melanie comes highly qualified and will do a great job of serving the citizens of Edwards County. Knight will assume the roll of Clerk and Recorder on November 1st.

After much thought and reflection, I have decided to retire from my role as your County Clerk & Recorder. Serving the people of Edwards County has been one of the greatest honors of my life.

Throughout my years in office, I have had the privilege of working alongside a dedicated team and serving our county during elections, vital recordkeeping, and so many other responsibilities that help keep county government running smoothly.

I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me, and I carry with me the many memories, friendships, and lessons learned along the way.

Thank you, Edwards County for allowing me the honor of serving you for the past 23 years.
