๐Ÿ“ฃ Help Shape the Future of Our Schools! ๐Ÿ“ฃ

The Central Noble School Board of Trustees currently has a vacancy representing Albion Township and is seeking someone passionate about students and our community to serve.

School board members help guide the districtโ€™s vision, set policies, oversee finances, and make decisions that impact students and schools for years to come. Strong schools help build strong communities, and local leadership matters.

This appointment will fill a term that expires in December and will require the selected individual to run in the November 2026 election if they wish to continue serving. The deadline to file for the November 2026 ballot is June 18.

If you care about kids, education, and making a positive difference in our community, consider stepping up to serve! ๐ŸŽโœจ

UPDATE

We would like to provide an update regarding the candy bags distributed during CN Primary dismissal earlier today.

Two separate samples from the candy bags were independently tested, and both tests came back negative for THC or ma*****na-related substances. Based on our investigation, we believe commercially purchased candy was repackaged into pouches labeled โ€œfor adults 21 and over.โ€

At this time, we do not believe there is any danger to students or families related to the candy itself. However, out of an abundance of caution, we still encourage families to dispose of any bags that may have made it home and were not confiscated by staff and to use their own discretion on seeking medical care.

We appreciate the patience and understanding of our families and quick response of our staff members and as we worked through this situation. Student safety remains our top priority, and we will continue reviewing how this occurred. Please watch for further communication as we continue to investigate this unfortunate situation.

Please continue to reach out to Dr. Younghans, Superintendent, with any questions or concerns.

CN Families,
We are aware of a situation that took place this afternoon at CN Primary dismissal where students were given bags of candy that were labeled as "for adults 21 and over". After investigation, we believe these bags were reused and may not have contained any ma*****na. Once the issue was discovered, staff quickly confiscated as many bags as possible, however; should a brown bag of candy make it home, please dispose of this immedidately,

If your child shows any signs of intoxication of any sort, we encourage you to seek medical attention. We are taking this situation very seriously and continue to investigate how this occurred and will provide updates as we learn more. Please reach out to Dr. Younghans, Superintendent with any questions or concerns.
