VALOR is a volunteer Medical Reserve Corps composed of medical and non-medical personnel, developed to assist the community during public health emergencies as well as provide education and support during community events, with a focus on community resilience. September is National Preparedness Month. Each week of the month guides you on another step of your journey to being prepared. All month long the Health Department will be putting weekly articles on the Ready Genesee and Orleans Aware preparedness apps. Both apps are free of charge and available for both Apple and Android devices. There are also two links from FEMA for you to look at and share with your friends and families.
