Northwestern School District

Northwestern School District Northwestern School District is a small, rural, public school district based in Albion, PA. The district borders Lake Erie and the state of Ohio.

Northwestern School District encompasses approximately 122 square miles in the northwestern corner of PA, bordering Lake Erie and the state of Ohio. The district serves residents in Albion Borough, Cranesville Borough, Platea Borough, Conneaut Township, Elk Creek Township, and Springfield Township. Three of our school are situated on a scenic 84-acre campus in Albion, Northwestern Elementary School (K-5), Northwestern Middle School (6-8) and Northwestern High School (9-12). The Albion campus is also home to the historic one-room Valley School. The district includes one more school located in East Springfield, PA. Springfield Elementary School (K-5) provides a neighborhood school for children residing in the northwestern part of the District.
