NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT

The Parma Township Planning Commission (the “Planning Commission”) will hold a public hearing during a meeting of the Planning Commission to be held at the Parma Township Hall (see address below) on Monday, May 11th, 2026, at 5:45 P.M. to consider a proposed amendment to the Township’s Zoning Ordinance.
If adopted, the proposed Zoning Ordinance amendment would, in summary, regulate the siting, construction, and operations of wind energy projects within the Township for the public health, safety, and general welfare. Copies of the proposed Zoning Ordinance amendment are available upon request by appointment at the Township Hall, 16407 Comdon Road, Albion, Michigan 49224. Written comments on the proposed Zoning Ordinance amendment will be received at the Township Hall by appointment, up to and including the day of the public hearing, including by mail using the address below. Please contact the Township Hall using the information below to coordinate submitting written comments by e-mail (if necessary) or to obtain copies of the proposed Zoning Ordinance amendment. Oral comments on the proposed amendment may also be made at the public hearing. The Township will provide auxiliary aids or services to individuals with disabilities. Persons needing such services should kindly contact the office of the Township Clerk by writing or calling the Clerk not less than four (4) days before the public hearing using the contact information below.

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Pursuant to PA 267 of 1976 as amended; The Parma Township Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 5:45 P.M., on Monday, April 13th, 2026 at the Parma Township Hall, 16407 Comdon Rd. Albion MI. The purpose of the hearing is to review and discuss plans submitted by Quantum magic for a Conditional Use Permit to allow an expansion of the existing business.
The following property within Parma Township is the subject of the request by Quantum Magic:
1. Parcel ID: 000-06-26-426-002-02, Address 12250 W Michigan Ave Parma, MI 49269

All questions and concerns will be heard at this time. ‼️ TAX DAY ‼️
The Parma Township Office will be open Monday, March 2nd, from 9AM-5PM. This will be the last day to pay property taxes at the Township. The tax roll closes at 5PM, any payments received after this time will be returned. After 5PM 2025 property taxes will need to be paid at the Jackson County Treasures office.

Pursuant to PA 267 of 1976 as amended; A Budget Hearing of Parma Township Board for the 2026-2027 fiscal year will be held March 18th, 2026 at 5:30pm at the Parma Township Hall located at 16407 Comdon Rd Albion, MI. The regularly scheduled Township Board meeting will immediately follow.
The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be the subject of this hearing.
A copy of the budget will be available at the Parma Township Office.
