We serve the area’s residents aged 60 and older and look forward to welcoming new members.

The hours of operation are
Monday – Friday 8:00 am until noon. Center Manager Denise Williams We have transportation available for those who need it. In addition to our group of very active quilters we participate in a variety of activities such as games and exercise. We go on field trips and visit other Senior Centers in the area. We have visits from representatives of various area seniors relat

ed establishments who give health and age related presentations, take our blood pressure etc. A hot lunch is served at 11:00 am. Most important of all though is the friendship we share.

The quilters wanted to share about these quilts and the story about them. As we understand it these quilts belong to an elderly lady, her and her husband are in the nursing home. This was 1 king size quilt and she ask if we would divide it to make 2 quilts out of it. Her mother made the quilt top, it is embroidered roses and it is estimated to be about 100 years old. A lot of handwork went into this top. We were able to divide the top and they quilted one for a male (blue) and one for a female ( pink). These quilts are finished and will be giving back to the lady for her and her husband to put on their beds.

We had an excellent day at lunch today at Cattle Stampede. And on the bus there and back it was a lot of laughs.

Hello friends and neighbors, We have finally got a quilt to raffle again. This is our first one for 2026. We will be selling tickets for a dollar each, 6 for $5 dollars 12 for $10 and etc. I am sorry but we don't accept electronic payments. We will be drawing for the quilt on June 19th 2026 at 9am. Our hours are from 7am until 11:30 am. Monday-Friday except on holidays. The quilt is a king size. Thank you all in advance for your support.

The quilters are really proud of there hard work this year and for the blessings that they have gotten to have so many quilters attend the center this year. After counting their quilt register book they realized they have quilted 80 quilts this year. That is almost 2 quilts per week. Congradulations quilter.
