* Word of the Week – Loyalty-faithfulness to a leader or cause

* Harvest Festival Thursday @ 5:00 at softball field. Tickets will be .50 each.

* Volleyball games Oct. 2nd @ Gaston.

* PBS Ram Bucks turn in to Mrs. Pelham (6th-8th) Mrs. Franklin (9th-12th)

* Any College Senior needing assistance with college applications, scholarship applications, college admittance essays, or any other college needs may meet with Mrs. Brindle on every WHITE Club day. Scholarship Opportunities will be available in her room.

* Anyone interested in being a Mentor Asbury (high school students helping elementary students) please sign the sheet outside Mrs. Brindle’s room. Mentor Asbury will meet on RED Club days.

* Any student 9th-12th grade that would like to join Upward Bound from Snead please go to the counselor’s office.

* Any high school student interested in joining FBLA should see Mrs. Mitchell. FBLA dues are $15 and must be turned in to Mrs. Mitchell by today

* Bill Miller will be here on Sept. 30th to take senior orders for pictures around 10:00.

* Tickets on sale for pumpkin chimney in office. 3.00 each. May see in office.

* Faculty, staff, and students may Asbury shirts and jeans on Thursday for Harvest Festival.

* For those in 4H who wish to enter the photography contest, please go by Mrs. Turk's room to sign up. All entries are due on Monday, October 6th

* Senior Trip will be Oct. 16th to the University of Alabama.

* October 22nd is anti-bulling day. Everyone is suppose to wear an orange T-Shirt.

• Seniors must pay $25.00 sitting fee if they want to order extra pictures
• Jr. High Football Jamboree @ Douglas @ 5:00 on August 23rd.
• Title One Open House Meeting August 26th @ 6:00 in lunchroom.
• Jr. High, JV, Var. Volleyball Game @ Brindle Mtn. on August 28th @ 4:00.
• Jr. Varsity & Jr. High Football game @ Gaston on Sept. 2nd. Jr. High/ 5:00-Jr. Var/6:00.
• PTO shirts on sale for $10.00. See office. Last year shirts on sale for $6.00.
• Extra yearbooks are on sale for $35.00. See Mrs. Croley
• Community Yard sale on Asbury Road Sept 6th. Please join PTO $3.00 for Faculty and $5.00 for family.
• Student Profiles are being sent home. Parents are to correct and send back to school. Please send to office when you get them back in class
• Any boy or girl running cross country needs to see Coach Cheek @ break to pick-up paper work.
