Job Well Done!
On September 25th, 2022, at approximately 5:30 P.M., Officer Boyce encountered a homeless male at the Holly Springs Police Department. After spending a little time talking with the man, Officer Boyce found out he was turned away from the homeless shelter in Marietta because he had no identification and had been without any food.
Officer Boyce called several motels and finally got him a room in Canton at a discounted rate. With his own money, Officer Boyce paid for this man's room and took him to McDonald's to get a hot meal for the evening.
We want to thank you for your kindness and compassion for the citizens of Holly Springs and for understanding that sometimes people need a little extra help. We are happy you are part of the HSPD family.
