ReZone Albany

ReZone Albany Albany is creating a Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), which is an updated, streamlined compilation of regulations that govern land use in the City.

ReZone Albany is the interactive process used to update and streamline the City of Albany’s antiquated Zoning Code, producing a modernized and sustainable Ordinance. This means that the existing Zoning Ordinance and all corresponding laws, and environmental and development regulations, will be reviewed, combined and referenced in one consolidated code document. The UDO will be clear procedures to

administer and enforce regulatory principles, delineate assigned responsibilities, and reflect a user-friendly application of standards for sustainable development.
