City of Albany - Office of the City Clerk Our Mission is to work in unison with Elected Officials, the Public and City Departments.

We are fimly committed to providing the utmost professionalism, efficency, and personal attention to everyone that we serve. The Office of the City Clerk assists the taxpayers and residents of the City of Albany by providing a variety of diverse services. These services include: processing birth, death and marriage certificates; licensing of taxi drivers, vendors, cafes, games of chance, cabaret l

icenses, residential parking permits and bingo, and other municipal licenses; issuing dog licenses; providing access to public records; and, all bidding and contract processing on goods, products and services purchased by the City of Albany in excess of $20,000 for goods and $35,000 for services. The divisions within the Clerk’s Office are:

We issue: Marriage Licenses daily from 9am - 4pm Parking Permit daily from 10am - 4pm
