Anne Hill, NNORC Director, Anne K., NNORC Resident, and Jane Ginsburg, JFS President & CEO spent the day advocating for the NORCs across the state.

Great day. Everyone who knew about NORCs already wants to live in one and those who learned more are ready to move in, too!

Thanks to Senator Neil Breslin, Assemblymember Steven Raga and and Assemblymember Nily Rozic for their time, as well as the staffs of Assemblymember Pat Fahy, Senator Rachel May and Senator Jessica Scarcella-Spanton.

The NNORC is delighted to share this most wonderful honor. Happy Gloria Gallagher day! 💓

It is my honor to declare today “Gloria Gallagher Day” in the City of Albany, on this, her 90th birthday.

Mrs. Gallagher has been a resident of Harris Avenue in the Helderberg Neighborhood Association for 64+ years, raised five children, and was an Albany City Schools teacher for many years at (then) School 19 on New Scotland Avenue. Gloria obtained her masters degree from The College of Saint Rose, and is the loving grandmother of 11 and the great-grandmother of 5.
