Dougherty County and City of Albany employees recently came together for a joint service delivery coordination meeting focused on strengthening collaboration and improving the services provided to our community.

The session highlighted the importance of working across jurisdictions to reduce duplication, maximize resources, and ensure taxpayers receive efficient, high-quality services. Participants discussed existing shared services, including emergency management, fire services, and code enforcement, while exploring new opportunities to enhance cooperation between city and county departments.

Through interactive exercises led by Janice Allen-Jackson and discussions with department leaders, staff examined real-world scenarios designed to improve communication, coordination, and service delivery across organizations.
