New York Assembly Republican Conference

New York Assembly Republican Conference The official page for the New York State Assembly Republican Conference RACC is managed by Republican Leader Will Barclay.

RACC is a political committee devoted to ending the Democratic stronghold on our government and increasing the Republican delegation in the New York State Assembly. RACC accomplishes this through: direct financial contributions to candidates and to Republican Party organizations; technical and research assistance to Republican candidates and party organizations; voter registration, education and t

urnout programs and other party-building activities. RACC relies most heavily on individuals from all walks of life, committed to the principles of smaller, more efficient government and economic freedom who contribute $25, $50 or $100 per year. Assembly Republican Leader Assemblyman Ed Ra is calling out attempts by Democrats to pass an 11th-hour, partisan redistricting proposal designed to rig New York’s Congressional elections.

Respect the voters. Respect the Constitution.

For years, Albany Democrats have repeatedly tried to dismantle voter-approved independent redistricting.

Voters, not politicians, should decide elections.

When local constituents shared their concerns, we raised our voices.

Our members were deeply troubled by the deeply concerning potential degradation of wetlands, destruction of farmland and disruption to protected wildlife in the name of advancing renewable energy projects.

Earlier this year, members of the Assembly Republican Conference sent a letter seeking detailed information about proposed projects seeking to empower residents while urging a more transparent and accountable process.

Local control and voices are more important than ever.

A brief bipartisan break this week, for a great cause.

The credit belongs to the men and women in the arena, whose faces were marred by dust, sweat and blood.

Ra’s Rough Riders pulled out a 15-14 victory in the Annual Assembly Charity Softball game, with nearly $13,000 raised for the Food Banks for the Capital District.

10,141 detainer requests, 0 honored due to New York’s sanctuary policies.

Individuals accused of committing crimes are being protected from federal law enforcement officials and putting our communities at risk.

Now, Gov. Hochul and NY Democrats are expanding immigration policies that have already cost New York taxpayers billions of dollars and welcomed unvetted individuals into our communities, which is virtue-signaling replacing common sense.

Assembly Republicans' plan would instead:

➡️Extend much-needed partnerships between state/local law enforcement and the federal government to enforce immigration laws and protect New Yorkers;
➡️Enact protections of taxpayer dollars marked for migrant aid; and
➡️Ensure communities are safeguarded from exorbitant costs and public safety concerns.

No budget and no common sense in Albany.

Partisan dysfunction reigned supreme as Assembly Democrats rejected 23 Republican proposals that would have strengthened penalties against child predators and cop-killers, provided transparency on monthly utility bills and boosted property tax exemptions for seniors.

With so many New Yorkers questioning the direction of the state, these decisions to block proposals that would help millions of people make even less sense.
